The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Unified Grant Operator have announced a grant competition for non-governmental organizations for 2025.
The purpose of the competition is to support civic initiatives and involve civil society institutions in solving urgent problems in the social sphere.
As part of the competition, NGOs can submit projects in several priority areas:
- Development of an inclusive society;
- Development of civic initiatives in rural areas;
- Organization of measures and events to protect citizens' rights and increase legal culture in society;
- Development of volunteering in emergencies and in eliminating the consequences of natural disasters;
- Development of environmental volunteering within the framework of the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign;
- Development of volunteering in the field of medicine;
- Development of volunteering in the field of history and culture;
- Development of social volunteering;
- Development of zoo volunteering.
