The construction of the Students' Palace, a multifunctional center that contributes to the comprehensive development of children and youth, continues in Semey. The total area of ​​​​the building under construction is 2.1 hectares, and the area is 9,800 square meters.

The Students' Palace can accommodate 500 people at a time. According to the head of the Abai region's construction department, Chingiz Riakhanov, more than 80 percent of the main construction work has been completed. Monolithic works, bricklaying, and metal structures have been fully completed. The roof and facade finishing works are also nearing completion. "Currently, interior finishing, installation of engineering systems and landscaping of the territory are being carried out. 54 specialists and 2 vehicles are working at the construction site," says the head of the department. According to the project, the Students' Palace is divided into six main areas: scientific and technical, artistic and aesthetic, sports and recreation, humanitarian, psychological, historical and local history. These areas will include robotics, programming, creative studios, theater and music clubs, physical education and sports, educational courses, literature and language, personal development, and regional history and culture research. Each section will be equipped according to its theme. Construction work is underway according to plan. All finishing and landscaping works are planned to be completed in the near future.
