The cadet class was solemnly opened at the S. Lastaev secondary school, and 20 students of the 7th grade were admitted. The class was named after a native of this district, senior sergeant Bagybek Tikebayev, a police driver of the Katonkaragay district internal affairs department. He died in the line of duty on September 3, 1994, while escorting detained criminals.
The opening of the cadet class is aimed at providing the younger generation with military-patriotic education, increasing interest in serving in law enforcement agencies, and determining the professional orientation of students.
A uniform was prepared for students in accordance with the uniform of police officers. The class was equipped with the necessary equipment.
With the consent of the East Kazakhstan Region Department of Education, additional subjects such as the basics of law enforcement services, initial military training, and first aid were included in the cadet curriculum. Police officers and relevant specialists will be involved in it.
