Today, the state is paying special attention to the direction of employment of the population. This issue is of particular importance for the Turkestan region, where about 75 percent of the population lives in rural areas. Therefore, the regional akim Nuralkhan Kusherov personally monitors the systematic and high-quality implementation of employment work. One of the mechanisms for employment is subsidized jobs. The head of the regional employment coordination and social programs department, Asiya Temirbayeva, reported on the work being carried out in this direction.
Employers can open subsidized jobs at their enterprises and accept unemployed people registered in the "Mansap" center. The state pays citizens' wages in full or in part through the "Mansap" center. Last year, more than 33 thousand citizens were sent to subsidized jobs in the Turkestan region, exceeding the plan in the region.
The results of the study conducted on subsidized jobs revealed a number of shortcomings, and some contracts were violated. Monitoring of labor discipline will be carried out regularly. Legality will be monitored through the Pension Payment Center.
More than 6 thousand citizens will be sent to districts and cities for landscaping, improvement and cleaning work within the framework of the "Clean Kazakhstan" event. The requirement is to maintain labor discipline. Also, measures will be taken to ensure the maximum permanent employment of those involved in public work.
The regional akim instructed to give priority to creating jobs and employing local residents.
- One of the tasks assigned by the Head of State is to create new jobs and provide permanent employment to the population. Therefore, improving the quality of life of the population is the main task. In this regard, priority will be given to creating new permanent jobs and employing local residents in our region, - said the regional akim.
This year, 32,465 people are planned to be sent to temporary jobs. Of these, more than 11 thousand people will be employed through youth internships, about 14 thousand people in public jobs, 4,680 people in social jobs, and 2,760 citizens aged 50-61 who have not reached retirement age under the "Silver Youth" project. 32,679 million tenge were allocated from general transfers for the organization of subsidized jobs.
