As part of the implementation of the "Clean Kazakhstan" concept for the development of ecological culture for 2024-2029, a marathon of cleaning activities has begun in the Maktaaral district.
The cleaning activity, which began in the Myrzakent settlement, was attended by the district akim Bakhyt Asanov, the secretary of the district maslikhat Kadir Sarsekbayev, the chairman of the district branch of the "Amanat" party Mukhtar Sarsenov, deputy district akims Bauyrzhan Shompiev and Serik Tursynkulov, heads and members of all public organizations, teams of state institutions, business facilities, and residents of the settlement.
- The purpose of this event is to increase the environmental activity of our residents, strengthen their responsibility for environmental protection, and call on society to cleanliness. During the marathon, residents of each village and district, employees of state and private institutions will jointly clean up the area from garbage and instill the ideology of respecting nature and the homeland, - said Bakhyt Nasyrkhanuly.
During the marathon, more than 12 tons of ash and garbage were removed, and this garbage was dumped at a landfill for solid household waste in the district.
In addition, 5 vehicles and more than 500 people participated in the event.
It should be noted that the marathon, which started in the village of Myrzakent, will continue in other villages and districts. The residents of the center sent a cleanliness challenge to the residents of the Zhanazhol rural district, urging everyone to keep their region clean.
