The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to work to strengthen the principle of "Law and Order" in society, creating zero tolerance for violations, including violations of traffic laws.
As part of the year of prevention announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs, the "Safe Road" operational-preventive event will be held on the territory of the republic from February 18 to 21.
The main goal is to ensure the safety of drivers and passengers, as well as to suppress all violations on the country's roads. In addition, special attention is paid to the prevention of traffic accidents.
On the very first day, thanks to the vigilance of the police officers of the North Kazakhstan region, they recorded a violation of traffic rules on the Zhezkazgan-Petropavlovsk highway.
When the Volkswagen car left the gas station, the police noticed the movement of the vehicle. During the inspection of the documents, it was revealed that the vehicle had not passed the mandatory technical inspection. In addition, during the execution of the administrative protocol, the police smelled alcohol and the driver underwent a medical examination. According to the results, it was determined that the man was in a state of alcohol intoxication. By decision of the Kyzylzhar district court, the driver was banned from driving for seven years and sentenced to 15 days in prison.
The "Safe Road" operational-preventive measure will be carried out on an ongoing basis.
