The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to work to strengthen the principle of "Law and Order" in society, raise the legal awareness of citizens and prevent drug offenses.
The police department has taken an important step towards the implementation of this principle - for the first time, a Council for the Prevention of Drug Offenses has been established.
The main goal of the Council is to strengthen measures to prevent drug addiction and illegal drug trafficking in the country.
The organization includes representatives of civil society. This allows them to actively participate in preventive measures, as well as contribute to solving the problem in the regions. Joining forces of state structures and public organizations is of great importance.
The first working meeting of the Council for the Prevention of Drug Offenses, established under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was held.

The meeting discussed the work plan of the council, as well as the possibilities of creating similar councils in the regions.
