At the Asian Cup in target shooting, which is being held in Bangkok, Thailand, the country's athletes achieved excellent results. To date, our athletes have won 17 medals and are in first place in the overall team standings. The country has 7 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze medals.

As part of the national team, athletes from Shymkent have won 6 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals. In particular, Yuri Yurkov (50 m, rifle prone), Elizaveta Bezrukova (10 m, air rifle mixed), Nikita Shakhtorin (10 m, air rifle), Ramazan Intykbay (10 m, pistol) and Oleg Noskov (10 m, air rifle) became the winners among juniors.
Our compatriots such as Irina Yunusmetova, Malika Seyil, Saule Alimbek, Kristina Ustinova (junior team), Oleg Noskov (junior) came in second place.

More than 320 athletes from 23 countries are competing in this year's Asian Cup. The tournament will end on February 22. Our country's athletes are looking forward to continuing the competition successfully and doubling their victories.
