The Department of the Chief of Arms has prepared a draft order of the head of the defense department “On approval of the norms for equipping servicemen, military units and institutions of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan with personal protective equipment”.
The adoption of the above norms removes personal protective equipment from the equipment norms of the Department of the Chief of Rear and transfers them to the property list of the Department of the Chief of Arms.
The norms were developed in order to provide formations and military units with the necessary number of personal protective equipment to maximize the lives of servicemen when performing assigned tasks. These include bulletproof vests, modular armor-piercing systems, helmets, protective shields, eye protection sets, etc.
