At the parent-teacher meeting, the issues of the role of the family in the prevention of juvenile delinquency, parental responsibility for certain types of juvenile delinquency, etc. were raised.
Also present at the parent meeting was a member of the Commission on Women's Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the Mayor's Office of Astana, Yrza Tursynzada, who made a speech on family values and crafts.
"Child safety should be a priority for parents, teachers, and every adult. Building an open dialogue with the child, constantly participating in his life, monitoring digital devices and talking to the child about safety are the main steps that will help prevent these problems. The child's future and the preservation of his well-being directly depend on us," said Gulsim Khasenova, Chief Specialist of the Department for the Protection of the Rights of Minors of the Astana City Department of Education.
Parents were also asked questions about child safety, restrictions on the sale of electronic cigarettes, children being outside at night, etc.
