On December 5 and 6, the XII International Forum "Anti-Counterfeit" is being held in the capital at the site of the Astana International Financial Center, which brought together more than 500 representatives of government, business, science and the media. This year, delegates from the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Nigeria and Switzerland are taking part in the forum. The forum was organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Eurasian Economic Commission and the International Association "Anti-Counterfeit".
During the forum, participants will raise key issues of copyright, intellectual property, digital labeling and traceability of goods, increasing control over online trade, problems of illicit trafficking in tobacco and alcohol products, pharmaceutical counterfeiting, standardization, trademark rights, the role of geographical indications in brand promotion, as well as media involvement in countering counterfeiting and counterfeiting.
The Forum opens a plenary session on the topic: "Security space: the future of the EAEU without counterfeiting and falsification", which is attended by representatives of government agencies and international organizations.
The forum sessions will bring together experts from ministries, departments, businesses, associations of copyright holders and consumers, as well as representatives of professional communities and the media.
