The Atyrau delegation, led by the regional akim Serik Shapkenov, paid a working visit to the city of Kazan at the invitation of the Chairman of the Republic of Tatarstan, - the press service of the regional akim reports. The main goal here is to strengthen ties between Russia and Kazakhstan and expand interregional partnership.

The delegation included representatives of government agencies, maslikhats, and businesses.

The visit began with a tour of petrochemical enterprises, where the Kazakh guests were shown advanced technologies in production and raw material processing.

The organizers gave a comprehensive presentation on the economic and industrial potential of the region, focusing on investment opportunities and prospects for cooperation in the strategic, energy, and industrial sectors at the Investment Development Agency.

In addition, a business forum was organized at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where the prospects for partnership with the Atyrau region, its economic potential, and investment priorities were discussed. This has created an opportunity for the emergence of new ideas that contribute to the development of effective partnerships.

A cooperation agreement was signed between the Atyrau Social and Entrepreneurship Corporation JSC and the Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the forum. The document was signed by Daniyar Takhanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Atyrau Social and Entrepreneurial Corporation JSC, and Sergey Mayorov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The delegation also visited the Bashir Rameev IT Park, a multifunctional ecosystem that combines education, business incubators, and innovative projects. The park, which will be put into operation in 2022 and has become the main platform for IT specialists and entrepreneurs, has modern co-working spaces, meeting rooms, a data center, an e-sports arena, and a drone park.
