A republican meeting of the Council of Elders was held in the Friendship House of Karaganda. Public figures and scientists from all over the country came to the meeting, organized as part of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. 

The round table discussed the implementation of the "Honest Citizen" project, the main goal of which is the patriotic and spiritual and moral education of the younger generation. The principles of honesty, justice, social responsibility, respect for the labor and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan should come first.

Deputy Akim of Karaganda region Alibek Aldeney noted the importance of this meeting. He said that more than a hundred ethnic groups live in peace and harmony in the region.

The key role of the Council of Elders in educating the younger generation, forming moral guidelines and strengthening interethnic harmony was noted by Marat Azilkhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Head of the Secretariat of the APC of the Kazakh Parliament. 

He presented letters of gratitude to the active elders of the region.

Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galym Shoikin spoke about the mechanisms for supporting and developing the activities of the Council of Elders.

The owners of the square and guests from different regions shared their experiences.

For example, Vasily Rak, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Elders of Pavlodar region, focused on the formation of labor values ​​​​in young people. 

Members of the Council of Elders met with students met and offered to help them choose a profession and raise the prestige of a working person.

Scientists: Nursakhan Beisenbekova, director of the "Tulgatanu" research center, and Zhambyl Artykbayev and Burkitbay Ayagan, developers of the "Adal Azamat" project, spoke at the meeting.

The participants decided on the need to strengthen work on educating the younger generation within the framework of the "Adal Azamat" project.
