On February 21, 2025, the XII annual conference "Kazmunaigazservice-2025" was held in Atyrau, where issues of development of the oil and gas and petrochemical industries were discussed.
The conference was attended by representatives of domestic businesses and foreign companies from Qatar and Russia, more than 150 companies in total.
During the event, K. Arymbek made a report, within the framework of which he reported on the work of the Ministry of Energy on the development of domestic value, including changes made to the regulatory framework aimed at supporting local manufacturers.
He also informed about measures to attract Kazakhstani producers and suppliers of works (services) to procurement by TCO, KPO and NCOC operators, including the program for the development of domestic value in goods, works and services, aimed at fixing specific indicators and facilitating the availability of domestic oil and gas equipment manufacturers, as well as reviewing tender procedures.
Following the results of the conference, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the "Situational Analysis Center of the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan" JSC and the Union of Oil Service Companies of Kazakhstan (KazService) aimed at joint participation in the implementation of projects in the field of development and provision of high-tech products and services for industrial enterprises of the energy sector of our country.
The work of the Ministry of Energy in this direction will continue.
