Today, a city-wide cleaning event was held in Turkestan within the framework of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program. The event was organized with the aim of improving the ecological situation of the city, developing active civic positions of residents and forming a culture of environmental protection.
Cleaning work in the city began at 9:00 in the morning, and 1100 people and 28 special equipment from city residents and various organizations were involved in it. During the weekend, the streets of the city, public places, and suburban areas were cleaned of garbage. At the moment, a Saturday cleaning is taking place along 45 streets in the Shaugar residential area.
- Keeping our yard and village clean is the duty of every resident. If every yard is clean, the village will be clean. And if the village is clean, the district will be clean. I urge the residents of the district to maintain cleanliness, which is a guarantee of health, - said Shaugar resident Fatima Kudaibergenova.
This initiative is aimed not only at cleaning the city's surroundings, but also at raising the environmental awareness of residents. In the future, cleaning work will be organized in the city as usual.
