As part of the working visit by the delegation led by Nurlybek Nalibayev, Akim of the Kyzylorda region, to the People's Republic of China, the Sichuan-Kyzylorda trade and economic forum was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It was attended by key industry leaders and entrepreneurs from both countries. Deputy Akim of the region, Ardak Zebeshev, introduced the forum participants to the region's investment opportunities.
Additionally, Nariman Abzhanov, Director of «Altyn Orda» LLP, presented the Salt Mining project; Askar Tleulin, Head of «Shalkiya Zinc» Ltd, discussed the Shalkiya Deposit Development project; and Sagidulla Syzdykov, Director of Financial Affairs of the Abzal and K Customs Union, presented the Deep Rice Processing project.
The region's main exports to China include oil, fish products, oilseeds, and unprocessed aluminum. The primary imports are machinery, equipment, polymers, and construction materials.
The forum discussed projects that align with the region's investment potential, such as deep processing of agricultural products, feed production, the establishment of poultry farms, and processing plants for meat, fish, wool, and leather. It also covered the construction of industrial greenhouses and the production of construction materials.
Additionally, Deputy Akim of the region, Ardak Zebeshev, along with industry leaders and entrepreneurs from Kyzylorda, held discussions with the heads of Zangge Mining Co. regarding the exploration and production of potassium and lithium, with Chuanhan Metallurgical Furnace Charge Co., Ltd. for the production of lead, nickel, and molybdenum, and with Power China Sinohydro Bureau 10 Co., Ltd. on mineral exploration and production. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the People's Republic of China organized the working visit of the regional delegation.
