A delegation from Kyzylorda region, led by regional akim Nurlybek Nalibayev, has arrived in the People's Republic of China. The delegation includes heads of agricultural organizations, construction and oil companies, and business owners. The purpose of the visit is to attract investment in the agro-industrial complex, construction, and services in the Aral Sea region. A meeting was held in the city of Xian with leaders of Chinese companies in the oil, gas, and chemical industries. During the meeting with the head of the Yan'an Energy Equipment Group, the regional leader expressed a willingness to cooperate.
"First of all, thank you for your interest in cooperation and participation in this meeting. A special delegation was created to attract advanced Chinese technologies to our region's industry. The oil and gas industry is the backbone of the region's economy and a priority area for industrial development. It accounts for more than 48.7% of the region's industrial production and provides jobs for over 10 000 people. In the region, 25 companies are involved in oil production and exploration across 49 fields. Currently, due to the depletion of most oil wells, geological exploration work is underway to replenish reserves."
The national company KazMunaiGas has begun drilling a well 5 500 meters deep at the Torgai-Paleozoy field. Currently, the drilling depth has reached 5,400 meters. Given the company's experience and modern technologies, we invite you to collaborate in our region. The Akimat of the Kyzylorda region is prepared to provide a land plot for the construction of plants, offer engineering infrastructure, and assist with logistics, said N. Nalibayev.
Additionally, the regional akim met with the head of the oil and gas company Xian ANCN Smart Instrument Inc. This company, established in 2007, specializes in producing equipment for oil and gas extraction, smart measurement devices, explosion safety robots, and autonomous gas field control. It employs 320 people, including 100 in research roles, and holds 340 patents for scientific research.
During the visit, deputy akim of the region Ardak Zebeshev, along with members of the delegation, met with business leaders from the city of Xinyang who have investment potential. It is important to note that this working visit by the delegation, led by the regional head, was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the People's Republic of China. Negotiations will continue in other cities.
