The Republican meeting of the Council of Elders "The Teachings of Elders - the Guarantee of a Fair Society" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was held in the House of Friendship in Karaganda.
The event is aimed at strengthening public harmony and national unity, organizing ethnic groups based on the principles of civic identity, discussing the implementation of the "Honest Citizen" project of the People's Congress of Kazakhstan and events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the People's Congress of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information and the scientific intelligentsia, representatives of the regional Chairmen of the Council of Elders, members of the Council of Mothers of the National Assembly of Kazakhstan, youth and other public figures participated.
Also, during the event, an expanded meeting of the Council of Elders was held on the topic "An honest citizen is the basis of social unity", where speakers from various fields of activity spoke and discussed effective ways to improve the work of the National Assembly of Kazakhstan.
Professors and academicians also explained the tools of the nation-building mechanism, the historical foundations of strengthening the unity of Kazakhstani society and the nation.
As part of the meeting, the participants met with members of regional ethno-cultural associations.
