Akim of Mangystau region, Honorary President of the regional Paralympic Federation Nurdaulet Kilybai met with paravolleyball players from Zhanaozen.
The athletes are participating in a training camp taking place at the regional sports club for the disabled in Aktau. They are being trained by the famous Iranian coach, London Paralympic silver medalist, three-time world champion, four-time Asian champion Ahmad Iri, who arrived in the region at the invitation of the regional akim.
- Nurdaulet Igilikovich has brought a strong coach from Iran to the region and is taking care of the training of athletes with disabilities at a high professional level. The coach has been here for 10 days. He is an international master of sitting volleyball. We thank the regional head for his good deed, - said paravolleyball coach Kuralbek Seidov.
It should be noted that last year, Nurdaulet Kilybay was appointed honorary president of the regional Paralympic Federation at the suggestion of athletes.
