Today, the grand opening of the "Center for Spirituality" was held in the Syrdarya district with the participation of the regional akim Nurlybek Nalibayev. The festive event was attended by heads of law enforcement agencies, artists and public figures, and residents of the district.
The ceremony began with a stage performance dedicated to the historical figures of the Syr Darya region.
The head of the region congratulated the public on the opening of the new facility and touched upon the work done in the field of culture.
"Our President Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly said, "The spiritual development of our country is directly related to the national spirit. Therefore, in order for the spirit of our citizens to always be high, we need to pay special attention to our culture and spirituality."
Last year, in the "Year of Spirituality" declared in our region, we paid due attention not only to cultural and mass events, but also to large-scale projects. "Mother's Tribute", "Family Center", "Art Center" with a capacity of 1,000 seats were launched, and a new symphony orchestra, inclusive theater, youth theater, modern dance, and choir groups were created. The main brand of Syr culture - the "House of Zhyrau" of representatives of the Zhyrau tradition - has been opened. Together with the "Samruk Kazyna" Foundation, we have put into operation the "Table Tennis" center, and with the sponsorship of the "KazMunayGas" company, we have put into operation the modern "Student Palace". Work in this direction will continue this year.
Today, we have gathered with you to dedicate the "Spiritual Center" in the Syrdarya district to the benefit of the country. Now our white-haired mothers, honorable veterans and energetic youth will gather in one place and continue the continuity of generations.

The chairman of the regional public council, Honorary Citizen of the Syrdarya district, Arip Khozhbanov, made a speech at the meeting and congratulated the gathered public. Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Honorary Citizen of the Kyzylorda region, Huseyn Amir-Temir, gave a blessing. Veterans who contributed to the prosperity of the district and employees of the contractor who built the building were awarded with badges and letters of gratitude.
It should be noted that this year is an important year in the history of Kyzylorda. A century ago, a decision was made to move the capital of the state from Orenburg to Akmeshit, and at the Fifth All-Kazakhstan Congress of Soviets, the name of the “Kyrgyz Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic” was changed to the “Kazakh Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic”. The historical name of our nation “Kazakh” was returned, and a resolution was adopted to rename the capital of the republic, the city of Akmeshit, to Kyzylorda. The first government leadership and management institutions of our country were formed and strengthened here. The first art and educational institutions were opened, and beautiful buildings were erected.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Kazakh Academic Musical Drama Theater named after Nartai Bekezhanov in Kyzylorda, where the foundation of the national theater was laid.
Last year, for the first time, 40 apartments were awarded to cultural workers from a newly built residential building. Since 2023, it has become a tradition to present the “Turan” award to representatives of culture, art and literature. At the conclusion of the “Year of Spirituality” in the Syr region, our compatriot Meirbek Sultankhan became the owner of the “Golden Dombra”. Our fellow countryman, young talent Beksultan Orynbasarov, also followed in the footsteps of his senior generation in aitys, and at the beginning of the year he received the "Kumis dombra", multiplying the joy of Syr spirituality.

Regional akim Nurlybek Nalibayev visited the Syrdarya district on a working trip, got acquainted with the work of the "Center for Spirituality" together with the heads of law enforcement agencies, and personally received residents.
The 81 citizens who came to the personal reception raised the issue of modernizing power lines, building a school, installing light poles, building a railway overpass, renaming streets, landscaping, and other issues.
A resident of the village of Saken Seifullin raised the issue of modernizing power lines. The head of the region said that 30 kilometers of power lines and 7 transformers in the mentioned settlement will be fully covered with night lighting. A resident of the village raised the issue of building a "Cozy School". Today, a project for a 300-seat educational center is being developed under the sponsorship of the ResProekt partnership.
Those who came to the reception asked the heads of law enforcement agencies their questions and received advice on their legal decisions. Such meetings are of great importance in promptly responding to public demand and promptly resolving issues. In recent years, residents who were notified in advance about personal receptions are grateful for the initiative, which has become a tradition.
During the visit, the regional akim met with labor veterans and representatives of the intelligentsia. They spoke about innovations and pressing issues in the development of the region and district, the work done and future tasks.
