Kazakhstan's Ministry of Emergency Situations rescuers climbed the peak of Big Almaty

  On the eve of World Civil Defense Day and the 30th anniversary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan climbed the Big Almaty Peak, located at an altitude of 3,680 meters above sea level.

  The highlight of the ascent to the peak was the hoisting of a thematic flag with the slogan "Civil Defense - the Guarantee of Public Safety". The purpose of this event was to draw public attention to the issues of citizen safety and strengthen the authority of civil defense bodies.

  The event was attended by employees of the Almaty Department of Emergency Situations, the Republican Emergency Response Team, the Center for Disaster Medicine, the Kazavi Rescue and Kazseldenkorgau branches of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

  “This climb is not just a physical test, it is a sign of our readiness to ensure the safety of people in any situation and our unity in our work,” - said Vadim Pak, one of the participants in the climb, the head of the rescue department of the team.

  This event demonstrates the unity and professionalism of all structures working in the field of emergency situations and reminds us of the importance of civil defense in ensuring the safety of the population.

  “We are proud of our profession and the fact that we can help people in the most difficult situations. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of civil defense, today we have taken another step towards strengthening it,” said Alisher Tuteshev, a senior officer of the Civil Defense Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
