During a press tour organized in the Uyghur region, journalists got acquainted with the work of the "M.Ilham" cattle feedlot. Currently, there are about 100 heads of cattle here. All the cattle are Angus. 600 head of cattle are fattened annually and sent to a meat company.

The head of the farm also said that it is planned to increase the number of cows. "The farm was founded in 2001. "Later, we leased equipment from KazAgroFinance JSC. Now we have 4 workers and 7 pieces of equipment. In the future, we plan to increase the number of breeding stock. Then we will have the opportunity to receive subsidies from the state. We plan to implement this measure before purchasing Angus cattle from another district," says Mars Idrisov.

It should be noted that the farm also prepares its own livestock feed. Alfalfa is the main crop grown here, with 200 tons harvested annually.
