As part of the President's instruction to increase the share of processed products in the agro-industrial complex to 70%, a large investment project worth 34 billion tenge was implemented in the North Kazakhstan region.
An oil extraction plant for processing oilseeds was built in Petropavlovsk by Maslo-Del LLP. The annual processing capacity of the enterprise reaches 400 thousand tons, it is equipped with modern European equipment and is fully automated.
The plant produces sunflower, rapeseed and linseed oil, as well as high-protein animal feed additives - sunflower meal and meal.
The extraction line is planned to be launched in the spring, and by the end of 2025 a deep processing plant for vegetable oil for the production of lecithin, which is in demand in the food industry, will be opened. Raw materials from local agricultural producers are used in the production.
Thanks to the launch of the oil extraction plant, the region will ensure full processing of its products. In 2024, 780 thousand tons of oilseeds were harvested in the North Kazakhstan Region, and the total capacity of processing enterprises has now reached 813 thousand tons.
This year, as part of the diversification of arable land, the area of ​​\u200b\u200boilseed crops increased by 85 thousand hectares, reaching 760 thousand hectares.
