A number of works are being carried out in Shymkent to optimize traffic and increase road safety. These measures are aimed at reducing traffic jams and ensuring the safety of city residents.

– In particular, today the routes at the intersection of Baidibek Bi and Argynbekov streets have changed. Vehicles connecting to the bypass via Baidibek Bi and Argynbekov streets were provided with the opportunity to pass in both lanes, and road markings were drawn.

– Changes were made to the traffic directions at the intersection of Nazarbayev and Shayakhmetov streets. That is, a right turn from two lanes to Nazarbayev Avenue via Shayakhmetov Street was made, and a road marking was installed.

– Two-way traffic was organized on the street near the "Rakhima Plaza" shopping center connecting Argynbekov and Nazarbekov streets.

– An additional section was installed for turning left from Baiterekov Street onto N. Nazarbayev Avenue.

– In order to reduce congestion on Shayakhmetov Street, an additional section is planned to be installed at the intersection of Shayakhmetov-Argynbekov streets. An additional section for turning left when approaching Shayakhmetov Street will help reduce traffic jams and optimize traffic.

Work on regulating traffic flow, optimizing traffic, and increasing safety on city streets will continue.
