Kazakhstan and Austria are expanding the contractual and legal framework
04.03.2025 01:17:42 484Astana, February 28, 2025 - The Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Austria have signed intergovernmental agreements on the exemption of diplomatic passport holders from visa requirements and the readmission of illegally staying persons.
The documents were signed on the Kazakh side by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Sadenov and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Bakayev. The Austrian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Andrea Bacher, attended the ceremony from the Austrian side.
The agreements signed will expand the contractual and legal framework between Kazakhstan and Austria, strengthen bilateral cooperation, facilitate official visits and strengthen interaction in the field of migration policy.
This step demonstrates the high level of mutual trust between the two countries and confirms their readiness to further develop partnership relations in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres.
