During a working trip to the Kobda district, the regional akim visited the village of "Aliya", the birthplace of Hero of the Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova.
Aliya village is located 70 kilometers from the city of Aktobe. The population of the settlement is more than a thousand. The House of Culture in the village was renovated in honor of its 100th anniversary. 74.4 million tenge was allocated from the regional budget for this. The doors of the cultural center were renovated, the floor and roof were replaced, the walls were whitewashed, new tiles were laid, video surveillance cameras were installed, street lighting was installed, sidewalks were removed, and the courtyard was landscaped.
The village model library is also located within this cultural facility. In order to effectively spend the public's free time, various thematic events are held here, theatrical performances are presented, and exhibitions are organized.
Librarian Kenzhegul Knyazova said that as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the sniper girl, they plan to hold a memorial evening dedicated to the hero and other educational events in the library.
Also, the head of the region Askhat Shakharov reviewed the major repairs carried out at the regional patriotic education center "Aliya".
The center was opened in 2005 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Aliya Moldagulova. There is a museum dedicated to the life of the hero girl and the history of the village.
During the renovation, the central building was completely renovated. The facade was renovated, the roof was replaced, the water and electricity supply system was put in order, and interior finishing work was carried out. The stoves were laid, and the heating boiler was updated.
The head of the region noted the great importance of this center in patriotic education of young people and preserving the valuable history of the glorious hero girl. The cultural center plays a huge role in instilling civic responsibility among the younger generation and instilling patriotism in them.
