Deputy Mayor of Almaty Alisher Abdykadyrov addressed the residents before the start of the city-wide campaign "Almaty is our common home" within the framework of the republican program "Clean Kazakhstan". He called on all Almaty residents to actively participate in the campaign and further beautify and green the city.

"Dear Almaty residents! Nauryz has long been a time of renewal. On the eve of the great holiday of the nation, our people, along with the renewal of nature, have been engaged in cleaning up and beautifying the environment. This good tradition continues to this day. From March 1, we will start the campaign "Almaty is our common home". I invite you all to actively participate in this important cause. It is in our hands to make Almaty the most beautiful and green city," said the deputy mayor.

A. According to Abdykadyrov, the campaign will take place from March 1 to April 1 and is divided into 4 main stages.

The first stage is “Clean Streets”: cleaning stops, traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, road signs, lighting fixtures, as well as installing new garbage bins in public places.
The second stage is “Clean Parks and Squares”: garbage collection in parks, squares and riverbanks with the participation of residents and volunteers.

The third stage is “Clean Yards”: holding local Sabbaths in yards, painting children's and sports grounds, and landscaping elements.

The fourth and final stage is “Our City is Our Pride”: putting historical monuments and cultural objects in order, mass tree planting and landscaping of the city.

“Dear residents! “Almaty is our common home,” and every home should be clean and comfortable. I urge each of you not to leave behind garbage, to take care of nature and to maintain cleanliness. Take part in our campaign! Let our city be an example for everyone! Thank you for your care and love for Almaty! ”, – concluded Alisher Abdykadyrov.
