Another night raid was conducted in Astana to identify hookah smokers. An inspection was conducted in entertainment establishments in the Sarayshik district, the city's official website reports.
The raid was conducted by representatives of the district akimat and the police department. They inspected 6 entertainment establishments in order to prevent the use of hookah in public places.
"Violations were detected in two establishments. 5 persons who visited the establishment were brought to administrative responsibility. The total amount of fines amounted to 294,900 tenge,” the press service of the Sarayshyk district akimat reported.
Fines were levied on consumers of entertainment establishments for using hookah in prohibited places in accordance with Article 441 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The raids are being carried out within the framework of the "Law and Order" program.
