A mini-football tournament has started in Astana among employees of city enterprises and organizations. The event is being held within the framework of the "Year of Worker Professions", the official website of the city administration reports.
The tournament is being held at the vocational and technical college of the Astana city administration.
Four teams are competing in the competition: "Bazis Astana" LLP, "Astana Tazalyk" LLP, "Military Railway Security" LLP and the branch of the Republican Railway Transport Management Center "KTZh NC".
The organizers have prepared various events, prizes and certificates for the guests.
"The tournament was organized at a high level. We always support such competitions, actively participate and try to win prizes. This tournament solves several important issues for the city and young people at once. "This makes it even more important," noted Kenzhe Zhaparov, captain of the Bazis Astana team.
The main goal of the event is to widely promote mass sports and attract working professionals to systematically engage in physical education, promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent harmful habits. The tournament also contributes to the development of sports teams among working youth, the identification of the best football players among employees of city enterprises, and the strengthening of ties by selecting athletes to participate in the tournament for the city akim's cup, which will be held in April of this year.
The sports event was organized by the Ali Group company together with the state institution "Directorate for Holding Sports and Mass Events" of the Astana city akimat and the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the city police department, with the support of the metropolitan Department of Physical Culture and Sports.
"Our task is not only to unite young employees within the framework of the implementation of the action plan to combat the spread of drugs, but also to solve the pressing problems of labor collectives that trade unions are facing today. We strive not only to hold tournaments, but also to provide advisory assistance in resolving labor issues. "Our main goal is to create a future personnel reserve in enterprises and organizations and maintain the continuity of generations," says Saltanat Ali, head of the Ali Group company.
