By order of the Akim of the Akmola region, Sakhiev Serik Kanatovich was appointed head of the Akmola region health department for the period of the main employee's study leave.
Serik Kanatovich was born in the village of Kyryk Kudyk, Stepnogorsk city, Akmola region. In 2007, he graduated from the Kazakhstan State Medical Academy with a degree in "doctor-biochemist". In 2013, he received a bachelor's degree in economics and business from A. Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University.
He began his career in 2007 as a doctor-biochemist at the Zerendy district polyclinic. In different years, he held managerial positions in the sanitary and epidemiological expertise and healthcare of the Akmola region.
Prior to this appointment, he served as the director of the KMC of the “Center for Primary Medical and Sanitary Care of the Village of Krasny Yar”.
