The first akimat meeting was held under the chairmanship of the regional akim Berik Uali. The meeting discussed the progress of flood preparations, the implementation of the "Modernization of Healthcare in the Village" project, the development of inclusive education, mass sports and the modernization of sports infrastructure.
Currently, the length of local roads in the region is 4,656 km (regional - 1,593 km, district - 3,063 km). There are 130 bridges and 2,102 culverts along these roads. According to the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways, 68 percent of these culverts have been cleaned.
The head of the region noted that a plan of measures to combat spring floods has been approved in the region, and all work must be carried out in a timely and high-quality manner. He instructed to closely monitor the water level in all reservoirs of the region, ensure the timely cleaning of water channels, ditches and bridges, and strictly monitor the readiness of dams and inert materials in flood-prone areas.
“It is expected that spring will come early. Therefore, strictly monitor flood preparations. Our main goal is to ensure the safety of residents. We must be ready to take immediate action in the event of an emergency,” said the regional akim.
The head of the region also instructed the veterinary department, city and district akims to inspect the sanitary and technical condition of livestock burial grounds.
The meeting discussed the current state of medical and sanitary facilities built in the region within the framework of the national project “Modernization of Healthcare in the Village”. The regional akim instructed the Construction Department, together with the city and district akims, to fully complete the improvement and engineering infrastructure work at medical facilities.
“District akims, pay attention to providing newly built medical facilities with the necessary personnel. When providing service apartments, priority should be given to young specialists in the field of healthcare. After all, currently there is a shortage of 80 doctors in cities and districts,” said the head of the region.
At the meeting, representatives of the relevant departments reported to the regional akim on the development of inclusive education in the region, modernization of mass sports and sports infrastructure. The head of the region instructed the Department of Education to create all conditions for children with special needs and disabilities to feel like full members of society.
