The head of state declared 2025 the "Year of Working Professions". This is a special tribute to professionals who directly affect the development of the country's economy. Workers' professions are an important link in the industry, construction, agriculture, service and light industry.
Last year, the Labor Mobility Center sent 670 residents to short-term vocational training in 43 specialties. Of those who received vocational training at educational organizations and employers' workplaces, 393 completed their studies in full, and 297 found permanent jobs. Today, citizens are employed through short-term vocational training.
In particular, residents who received vocational training at educational organizations mastered 26 specialties, including makeup artist, graphic artist, confectioner, cosmetologist-esthetician, manicurist, waiter, hairdresser, cook, furniture assembler, plumber, and tailor. Those who received training at the workplace of employers learned 17 specialties and were employed, including accountant-cashier, clothing and accessories decorator, master of wide-profile construction works, leather and fur chemical processing operator, hand-knitter, baker, and cook.
Worker specialties are the basis of the production potential of any state. The city's Department of Employment and Social Protection will continue to carry out relevant work in this direction this year.
