A number of issues were considered and important decisions were made at the regular ХИІВ session of the maslikhat, held with the participation of the city akim Gabit Syzdykbekov. The meeting discussed issues of ensuring public safety, preventing natural and man-made emergencies, and providing social assistance.

As a result of the comprehensive measures taken, a decrease in crime is observed in the city today. It was proposed to take a number of measures to strengthen the safety of the residents of the megalopolis.

Currently, anti-flood measures are being implemented in our city in stages. Work in this direction is under the daily supervision of the city administration and emergency services.

Changes are being made to the principles of providing social assistance in Shymkent, determining the list of certain categories of citizens in need. Relevant work has been carried out in accordance with the requirements of the law on the draft decision.

Summing up the session, the city akim thanked the deputy corps for supporting the implementation of important decisions and expressed confidence in continuing to work together in the development of the megalopolis.
