Today, the jubilee opening of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the republican forum "30 Years of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan" were held at the Palace of Peace and Accord.

The solemn event was attended by representatives of state bodies, deputies of Parliament, ethnocultural associations and Assembly veterans, well-known public figures and experts.

As part of the forum, a congratulatory message from Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was read out in all Friendship Houses of the country. The unveiling of the commemorative plaque "30 Years of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan" was held on the occasion of Thanksgiving Day.

During the forum, speakers spoke about the establishment of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the idea of ​​its establishment, focusing on the Assembly's significant achievements over the past 30 years, and its historical role in supporting unity and harmony in Kazakhstan. The significance and content of Thanksgiving Day were also discussed.

At the end of the solemn event, the start of the annual "Charity Caravan" campaign of the ANC was announced. Veterans of the Assembly were honored, commemorative gifts were presented, and a wreath-laying ceremony was held at the "Thanks to the Kazakh People" monument.

Challenges, festival-exhibitions, concerts and other events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the ANC and Thanksgiving Day were held throughout the day in all regions of the country.
