From February 25 to 28, 2025, the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in hand-to-hand combat was held in Astana, which was attended by more than 400 participants, including representatives of law enforcement agencies.
Athletes of the departmental club "Batyr team" won gold medals and prizes, demonstrating a high level of training. The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Chingiz Arinov, personally congratulated the winners and noted that the development of sports is one of the priorities for the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. "
Physical fitness and fighting spirit are an integral part of our work. Victories in such championships are an indicator of the strength, discipline and professionalism of our employees," the minister noted.
According to the results of the competition, the athletes of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan showed high results. In the "combat" sport, several employees of the department immediately rose to the top. Among women in the category up to 48 kg, Tomiris Zhusupova from the Akmola region won gold, and Sagynysh Asylbekova from the Astana city won silver. In the weight category up to 64 kg, Maria Chebotareva from the Karaganda region became the champion, and in the heavy category over 70 kg, Aruzhan Berkinbayeva from the Turkestan region took first place.
The men also showed decent results. In the weight category over 62 kg, Dias Nurtayev from the Akmola region won a silver medal, and Yaroslav Razmeritse from the 52859 military unit of the RK Ministry of Emergency Situations won a bronze medal.
In the "self-defense" sport, the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees demonstrated a high level of technique and training. Among women in the category up to 50 kg, Akerke Zhumadinovazh, an employee of the Kyzylorda region Ministry of Emergency Situations, and Kristina Gordienko, an employee of the Pavlodar region Ministry of Emergency Situations, won, becoming first in the individual championship and in the pair events. Other athletes from Kostanay region — Olga Sverityuk and Aigerim Zharasova from Karaganda region — won the prize-winning places.
In the men's category up to 80 kg, Ilyas Sargazink from the Akmola region took bronze, and in the weight category up to 95 kg, Umirzhan Tukishev from the Kostanay region took third place.
These results are a testament to the hard work, discipline and fighting spirit of the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who continue to strengthen the image of the department as a strong and united team, successfully combining work and sports.
