Inclusive cinema: An evening in memory of director Aziz Zairov was held in Astana

A memorial evening was held in Astana at the OzgeEpic creative hub with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan in memory of Aziz Zairov, a well-known domestic director, one of the authors and producer of the "Limitless Opportunities" trilogy.
The trilogy includes the works "To be or not?", "The Sea and the Sea" and "Mom, I'm Alive!" social dramas.
The director's friends and relatives, everyone familiar with his work, as well as the film crew of the famous trilogy came to commemorate Aziz Zairov.
Aziz Zairov began work on the "Limitless Opportunities" project in 2014 with the film "To Be or Not?" together with Mukhamet Mamyrbekov. In 2019, the second part of the trilogy - "The Girl and the Sea" - was released to the audience. And the final part, "Mom, I'm Alive!", was filmed with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and was released in 2024. That year, Aziz Zairov passed away.
The main roles in his films were played by people with disabilities. Aziz Zairov himself is wheelchair-bound. He aimed to develop inclusiveness in society. The "Limitless Opportunities" trilogy received many international awards.
Also, in memory of the director, L.N. A special screening of the film "To be or not to be?" was held at the Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
Aziz Zairov was a member of the Eurasian Creative Guild, a co-founder of the Asau-At Public Foundation, an active volunteer, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Amila Foundation, which supports children and adults with cancer, and a resident of the "Creative Bohemia of Asia" association.
