In order to attract medical specialists to Mangystau region, funds were allocated from the local budget at the end of last year to pay a one-time lump sum allowance. By decision of the regional akimat and the health department, a one-time lump sum allowance was paid to 60 doctors in the region today.

A lump sum allowance of 8.5 million tenge was paid to 32 doctors who came to the district and rural areas, 5 million tenge to 11 doctors who came to the city of Zhanaozen, and 3 million tenge to 17 doctors who came to the city of Aktau.

Among those who received lump sum allowances are surgeons, pediatricians, general practitioners, ophthalmologists, oncologists, anesthesiologists-resuscitators, neurologists, radiologists, psychiatrists, and neonatologists.

Today, there is a shortage of 280 doctors in the region. To solve this problem, the head of the region, Nurdaulet Kilybay, instructed the leadership of the Health Department to further increase the amount of the mentioned wholesale allowance.
