The Ministry of Defense has developed a draft order of the head of the defense department "On amendments to the Order of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 461 dated August 16, 2017 "On approving the description of personalized insignia, breastplates and other military-heraldic insignia, graduation badges of military educational institutions, badges for class specialists, award medals (badges) for prize-winners of military-applied, service-applied, technical and other sports events, as well as the procedure for their issuance and wearing by servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
In the fourth part of paragraph 9 of the draft document, the description of the "People's Hero Army General Nurmagambetov Sagadat Kozhakhmetovich" cup has been changed. Paragraph 25 sets out the grounds for awarding the first Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan with the badge "People's Hero Army General Nurmagambetov Sagadat Kozhakhmetovich" and the procedure for selecting military personnel.
