The largest international exhibition of the Canadian Mining and Exploration Association – PDAC will be held in Toronto 2025 has begun.

As part of the event, the Vice Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Iran Sharkhan, the Head of the AIFC Rustem Bekturov, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Canada Dauletbek Kusainov, the Vice President of the National Bank of the Chamber of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan held the opening ceremony of the national pavilion showcasing the geological potential of Kazakhstan.

One of the important events of the first day was the international forum "Meet Kazakhstan: The Power of Geology in the Ninth Largest Nation". The Vice Minister spoke at the 1st session.

"Kazakhstan has a historical heritage and traditions of geological exploration and production, rich natural resources, including potential deposits of rare metals such as lithium, niobium and tantalum. We strive to create favorable conditions for investment and cooperation with local and international partners. "As part of the development of this industry, we are actively attracting new technologies for exploration and production, and I would like to emphasize that environmental protection issues in the field of geological exploration, production and processing of minerals are also our priority," noted Iran Sharkhan.

The speakers include leading international experts in the field of mining and metallurgy, such as Rinaldo Giannti, Deputy Minister of Land and Mineral Resources of Canada, Pini Althaus, Cove Capital Co-Founder, Vasileios Tsianos, Vice President of Corporate Development of Neo Performance Materials, Conrad Blake, HATCH Mining Director, and Madalina Ivanica, Deputy Head of Delegation to the European Commission.

The PDAC 2025 exhibition will continue until March 5, and the Kazakhstani delegation will continue active meetings with partners and representatives of leading mining companies.
