The Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted monitoring of stores selling these products in connection with the fact of mass poisoning of students of one of the schools in the Aktobe region with products (snacks) of dubious origin.
Over 1.5 thousand stores were covered during the monitoring, and 14 samples of imported products (snacks) of dubious origin were purchased for laboratory tests in terms of compliance with the technical regulations of the Customs Union.

There is also no declaration of conformity confirming the assessment of the product's compliance with the established safety requirements.Emergency response measures were taken for the specified product, which was withdrawn from sale. Notifications were sent to the trade facilities selling the specified foods about compliance with the requirements for accepting food products for sale with the mandatory presence of a declaration of conformity marked in accordance with the requirements of technical regulations.
