On March 3 of this year, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Nysanbayev, held a working meeting with the Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Kazakhstan, Katarzyna Wawiernia.
During the meeting, issues of regional cooperation in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development were discussed.
Students at the meeting The educational program "Climate Box" was introduced, aimed at raising awareness of climate change issues among children and young people.
This program includes a set of educational and gaming materials, including an illustrated textbook, a set of "Climate Quiz" cards, a Wall Map with the predicted consequences of climate change, as well as posters with recommendations for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to climate change.
The "Climate Box" provides not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical tools for educational institutions, including training for teachers, methodological recommendations and ideas for project work.
