Today, in Karmakshi district, with the participation of the akim of the region, Nurlybek Nalibayev, a festive event was held under the name "Holiday, Nauryz!" The event was attended by deputies of the Senate and the Mazhilis of the Parliament Ruslan Rustemov, Murat Abenov, Marhabat Zhayymbetov, Murat Ergeshbayev, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Almas Almatov, representatives of the intelligentsia and residents of the district.

An exhibition of handicrafts and historical exhibits was put up on the central square, contests on national games, a girl's and a guy's aitys were organized. The head of the region congratulated the residents on the great day of the ulus.

"This year is a year of anniversaries for the country and the region! The 180th anniversary of the birth of the main Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayuly, the 100th anniversary of the founding of Kyzylorda, the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the 70th anniversary of the opening of the Baikonur cosmodrome, and the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan are widely celebrated. At the recently held National Kurultai in Burabay, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich proposed holding the next 5th Kurultai meeting along the cheese, in the city of Kyzylorda, which was once the capital of the Kazakh people. The historic decision to hold a collegiate meeting in our region has become public knowledge in the region. The President noted that important events in Kyzylorda, where the indigenous name of our people "Kazak" was restored, historical justice reigned, and should be preserved in the country's memory. It is a great honor for us, a positive assessment of our president for the work carried out in the region. I congratulate you on the Nauryz holiday! May well-being, joy and prosperity reign in every home! The head of the region focused on the indicators of socio-economic development of the region and the upcoming large-scale work. He wished success in all the endeavors of the Karmakshins during their heyday and transformation of life.

At the event, letters of thanks from the akim of the region were presented to active citizens who contributed to the development of the district, and Ruslan Rustemov, a member of the Senate of the Parliament, made a speech and congratulated the residents on the holiday.
