On 30.10.2025 in the Regional Communications Service of the region Zhetisu held a press conference with the participation of the media.

At the conference, the head of the Office of desk monitoring of the Department of State Revenue in the region Zhetisu G.N.Sarmurzinova spoke about improving the effectiveness of desk control through digital solutions, changes from 1.01.2026.

Desk control - an event carried out by the tax authority on the basis of study and analysis of tax forms, as well as other documents and information on the activities of the taxpayer (tax agent). The purpose of desk control is to give the taxpayer (tax agent) the right to independently fulfill tax obligations to calculate taxes and payments to the budget.

In order to fulfill the notification it will be necessary to

- in case of confirmation of discrepancies, to submit the FNO

- in the event of disagreement with discrepancies - to submit an explanation

In general, the procedure for conducting desk control has been retained.

The name of the notification has changed - notification of discrepancies identified as a result of desk control.

The provision on failure to serve a notice during a tax audit has been clarified, which should be taken into account when conducting a tax audit.

Also, in case of non-execution of the notice, i.e. in case of failure to submit an explanation, the issuance of ESF is suspended.

Department of state revenues on the region Zhetisu on the results of administration in the direction of desk control issued 12,021 notices for the amount of violation of 220,928.3 million tenge, ensured the receipt of additional reserves in the budget, totaling 4,216.1 million tenge.
