On March 28, 2025, Abai East Kazakhstan College of Humanities hosted the Regional Chess Olympics among educators of technical and vocational, post-secondary education organizations of East Kazakhstan region.

The goal of the Regional Chess Olympics was to develop and popularize mass sports among educators of technical and vocational, post-secondary education organizations. 

A total of 32 teachers from 16 colleges of the region participated in the Regional Chess Olympics.

According to the results of the Regional Chess Olympics in the team events, the winners were awarded diplomas and medals:

I place - S.Z. Tursynbekov, K.A. Zhurtbayeva - Ust-Kamenogorsk Higher Medical College;

II place - I.S. Isin, Zh.B. Garifullina – Ust-Kamenogorsk Higher Polytechnic College;

III place - E.T. Seilkhanov, B.T. Aitpbayeva – Zaisan Technological College.
