On March 28 of this year, a meeting was held at the Almaty College of Technology and Floristry with Galymov Zharkyn, First Deputy Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption in Almaty, on the topic: "Law and order: the main principle of justice." In his speech, Galymov Zharkyn stressed the importance of forming the principles of integrity and honesty among young people. He noted that the future of the country depends on the active citizenship of every young person, his legal awareness and responsibility. The topic of academic honesty, fairness and openness in higher and professional educational institutions was also touched upon. The legal and moral consequences of such negative actions as plagiarism, corruption, and forgery of documents are explained to students. Thematic video materials were shown to the participants of the event, after which an open discussion took place in which students could ask questions and discuss topical issues of law and order with an invited speaker. Such events contribute to the improvement of students' legal literacy, the formation of an active civic position and the dissemination of the values of honesty and legality in society.
