Kazakhstan and Morocco Strengthen Interparliamentary Cooperation

Rabat, March 26, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Morocco Saulekul Sailaukyzy met with the Chairman of the Kazakhstan-Morocco Interparliamentary Friendship Group, member of the Committee on Finance and Economic Development of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Morocco Abdelkader Tahar.

During the meeting, the parties welcomed the dynamic development of bilateral relations and discussed the prospects for strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation. It was also noted the importance of holding the next meeting of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group of Kazakhstan-Morocco in Astana as an important step towards the development of political dialogue between the speakers of the parliaments of the two countries and the organization of their mutual visits.

Chairman Tahar highly appreciated the results of the official visit of the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu to Morocco, and drew attention to the fact that the entry into force on March 19, 2025 of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco on visa-free regime for holders of national passports will give a new impetus to relations between the two brotherly countries.
