A traffic accident occurred on the Astana – Stepnogorsk highway involving a collision between a Hyundai Creta and a Chevrolet Niva.

At that moment, a serviceman from military unit 3517 of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the "Oрталық" regional command, was passing by on his way to Stepnogorsk after returning from Akkol village.

Seeing the accident, Private Bauyrzhan Akhmetov approached the damaged vehicles and provided first aid to the injured drivers.

"I just did what I was supposed to. As servicemen, we must always help people, especially in difficult moments," said Senior Medical Instructor Bauyrzhan Akhmetov.

Thanks to his swift actions, the condition of the injured stabilized before the arrival of emergency medical personnel.

The arriving paramedics praised his professionalism, noting that his quick and correct response significantly contributed to the well-being of the accident victims.
