17.2 thousand Mangistau car owners have vehicle tax arrears in the amount of more than 786.9 million tenge, and April 1, 2025 is the deadline for tax payment for 2024.

Starting from April 2 of this year, notices of tax arrears will be sent to persons who have not paid the tax on time, as well as penalties for each day of delay.

In the Mangystau region, according to the data of the authorized body in the field of vehicle registration, individuals own over 214 thousand cars.

The vehicle tax, in accordance with Article 493 of the Tax Code, is calculated independently. This can be done using the electronic service "Calculation of transport tax", posted on the portal of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. kgd.gov.kz , or in the Calculators service of the e-Salyq Azamat mobile application.

The tax rate depends on the size of the MCI and the engine capacity of the vehicle, respectively, each year the amount of tax increases along with the increase in the size of the MCI. To calculate the tax, the MCI is applied, effective on January 1 of the corresponding financial year, i.e. for 2024, 3692 tenge is applied.

The Department of State Revenue in Mangystau region reminds that paying taxes is the constitutional duty of every citizen, and urges to pay taxes on time.
