Head of regional department for religious affairs appointed

The meeting of the regional activists chaired by the head of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev was devoted to personnel issues. In agreement with the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs, Mira Kazbekova was appointed head of the regional department for religious affairs.
As the akim of the region noted, M. Kazbekova is well acquainted with the socio-political situation of the region, has sufficient experience in the civil service. A qualified specialist, she contributed to the spiritual and cultural development of the region.
– The department and its head are entrusted with responsible tasks. In particular, this is the implementation of state policy in the field of religion, comprehensive control and analysis in order to ensure religious stability in the region, studying and monitoring the activities of religious associations, missionaries and spiritual organizations. "It is necessary to organize work on the prevention of religious extremism and the development of immunity to destructive religious ideologies among young people," said N. Nalibayev.
M. Kazbekova was born in 1984 in the Kazaly district of the Kyzylorda region. Graduated from Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University with a degree in Kazakh Language and Literature and Economics, and Bolashak University with a degree in Jurisprudence. She began her career in 2005 at the regional Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Civil Servants and Public Sector Employees. Over the years, she held the positions of Deputy Head of the Regional Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation, Head of the City Department of Culture and Language Development, Head of the Office of the Akim of Kyzylorda, Deputy Akim of Kyzylorda, and Head of the Regional Department of Public Development. From January 2023 until her new appointment, she headed the Regional Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation.
