At a meeting of regional activists, the head of the region, Nurlybek Nalibayev, introduced the new head of the regional department of culture, archives, and documentation, Zhanmurat Seilov.
Zhanmurat Seilov was born in 1985 in the Zhambyl region. He graduated from Taraz State University, named after M.Kh. Dulati, with a degree in History, Law, and Fundamentals of Economics, and from the International Kazakh-Turkish University, named after H.A. Yassawi, with a degree in State and Local Government. He began his career as an inspector in the office of the Akim of the Kyzylorda region. Over the years, he headed the city department of entrepreneurship, industry, and tourism, as well as the offices of the city maslikhat and the Akim of Kyzylorda. He also served as deputy akim of Kyzylorda and head of the regional department of physical culture, sports, and tourism. Since September 2024, he has held the position of deputy head of the office of the Akim of the Kyzylorda region. In his new role, Zhanmurat Seilov is tasked with preserving the region's historical and cultural heritage, developing and promoting national and cultural traditions and values, and coordinating the work of the center for the development of folk art, theaters, museums, and the library network, among others.
